1. Where do you buy your furniture pieces?
I buy my furniture from various places, ensuring each piece is of solid wood and is structurally sound. Most pieces I purchase from trusted suppliers, but occasionally I am gifted pieces from people within my local community who may no longer have the room for the piece and would like me to "jazz it up" - find it a new home - and save it from the landfill.
2. How do I care for my vintage furniture?
Your newly refurbished piece of furniture only needs a gentle wipe with a microfibre cloth to keep it in excellent condition.
As with all fine furniture, avoid any harsh cleaning products and use coasters and mats to protect the surface from stains, heat and water marks.
3. Can you replicate something I've seen elsewhere?
If you've seen a colour or design elsewhere, I am happy to create a similiarly designed piece of furniture for you.
Please bear in mind that although I will include the similarities in colour and/or design that you love, the final overall design will always be carefully tweaked to ensure your piece is 100% a completely one-of-a-kind creation.
4. What is your pricing policy?
Each piece of furniture is priced on it's individual merits and the complexity of the design and products used.
e.g. A simple one colour finish will be a lower price than a finish with a more dynamic or dramatic design involving several colours or special finishing techniques ie: wallpaper, furniture transfers, gilding, ombre effect, natural wood finish, stencilling and many more...
