"Jazz Up Your Junk!" Beginner's Furniture Painting Workshop - Saturday 28th February 2026

YOU’RE INVITED!

I’m excited to invite you to join me for a creative experience that promises to be fun as it is messy!

If you love the idea of restyling your own furniture and are keen to learn the basics, this workshop is perfect for you!

I am always thrilled to see the colourful results of a furniture transformation, aren’t you? The only limit with colour and design is your imagination!

This will also be the perfect chance to make some new like-minded friends in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and have some fun.

l will provide all the products and materials and guide you through your transformation.

PLUS:
I will also provide you with a solid oak Captain’s chair to work on.

A chair which you will be able to take home. Maybe to use in your home office, by your entrance or maybe even create a new reading nook! - the choice is yours.

As this will be a small-group setting, it will be limited to 4 students, so I can give you my full attention and ensure we have a fun and friendly session.
You’ll leave the workshop feeling confident, inspired and ready to take your new skills and chair back home!

Tea and coffee will be provided AND of course cake!
(Please let me know when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.)

Please bring along a packed lunch.

Bring an apron too, (or wear old clothes if you prefer) things can get messy!

The workshop will take place in The Weston Room at Filleigh Village Hall, Filleigh, Barnstaple, Devon EX32 0RS where we will be surrounded by stunning countryside and inspiring colours of nature.

There is plenty of free car parking with easy flat access to the venue.

The workshop will start at 10 am and end at 3 pm on Saturday 28th February 2026

(Please arrive by 9.45am to get settled in for 10 am.)

Note:
There are so many finishes and techniques too to take your piece one step further - to the next level, whether it be stencilling, distressing, dual colour finish, dry brushing or blending, these techniques will be available to learn in half day or evening sessions.
